It has always caught my eye, the poses people have when hailing cabs. Some hold them static, a statue of hoped for liberty, others are shifting, dropping their arms when there are no prospects in sight, sometimes almost seeming ashamed by the position they find themselves in.
As if to say no, not me. I am not here waiting for a cab, just looking down the avenue at oncoming traffic.

Unfortunately the use of ride apps has cut down a lot on my available subjects. Now I see too many hunchbacked humans staring solipsistically into their pursed palms rather than the statuesque salutes they once displayed
I'm glad I had the chances I had to catch what I could.
